I am rooting for these guys! Itās a beautiful place and we loved staying in Oban away from the tacky ocean front area spots. We loved the views and the grounds and the library with the assortment of whiskeys. Here is a photo of some highlights! The library and the peacock and the views. Looks like a castle.

Our stay at Eriska was wonderful and full of good memories. The staff were very professional and attentive. We spent one day walking around the entire island - it was not strenuous and took approximately 3 hours and that included lots of breaks to take pictures and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The food at Eriska was top notch from the lovely breakfasts to the multi course dinners. We stayed in the Skye room which is on the first floor. It was a spacious room with a sofa and fireplace.

Excellent location. My girlfriend and I were convinced that we were at the best hotel in Oban. 2 minutes walk could have you at the wetherspoons by the waterfront among other fantastic restaurants. There were also two restaurants on site very nice and clean. The only minor nitpick were some dirty spots on the bathroom wall and a weird looking soiled paper towel or something in the nightstand drawer. It wasnāt a very big deal and I was able to overlook this since everything seemed to go off...

The property was beautiful and well maintained. We had a wonderful meal - the duck was very good as was the seafood risotto. Breakfast was also great. The location was beautiful! A small lighthouse across from the property as well as a small castle further down. Had a wonderful morning walk along the water and fond by the castle! A perfect autumn walk.
