It's for sure a drive into Oban, but there is a Bus Stop right outside your door so not a problem to get into town. Property is quite got a good night sleep every night. It rained almost the entire time during our stay but my husband ventured to the viewing platform and said it was really nice. "Perfect place to stay. Excellent location, walking distance from everything including ferry and train station. Apartment has all amenities so you can cook and eat in, but is also very close to tons of restaurants etc. (including right next door). Nicely decorated place as well. "Four of us (mum, dad and two adult sons) stayed for a week here. It proved the perfect base to enjoy the area. The house is quite small, as per the description, but it had everything we needed and the most stunning views across the bay. The light changes constantly and if you paint, bring your paints. Turner did and it’s obvious why!! Oban is within very easy reach for shopping, meals out, trips to the islands, the lovely Ganavan Sands and more. We had such a great time and we’d do it all again...

"Excellent layout, easy to live in, settled very quickly. Location wonderful, opening door on deck from master bedroom made me aware of the tranquility of the area, with views and sunsets to always remember. All of the family thoroughly enjoyed our first break in this area. Fun’s times fishing, paddle boarding and canoeing. Would recommend all aspects of Yeahland House."

"We could have spent all our time sitting in the lounge or out in the garden enjoying the fantastic views of the islands. We were lucky with weather most of our stay so views were stunning. Only downside was the picture windows in the lounge had trapped condensation on them so the views were restricted somewhat by that. Enjoyed the walk up the hill behind the house most mornings.
