"We arrived at 730am and requested if we can check in earlier. We were told a code will be sent to my email by 4pm but it never came. So we went back to the front desk and informed them. A very rude receptionist told my husband, it’s sent by their system and just wait. We have waited for almost 8hrs already and this is totally unacceptable. To our disgust, we left and I reported to Expedia right away. Now the hotel is claiming code was sent. Again we never received it! We are demanding a refund."

The hotel is conveniently located in the Chamonix Mont-Blanc valley, just a short walk from the Bellevue cable car. The rooms were bright and clean, equipped with a flat-screen TV and free WiFi. I particularly enjoyed the balcony in my room, which offered a lovely view of the surrounding area. The buffet breakfast was a nice start to the day, with a good variety of options. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. However, the hotel could benefit from some updates, as it felt a bit dated in certain areas. Despite this, the cleanliness and service made up for it. Overall, I would recommend Ibis Styles Les Houches Chamonix for its convenient location and friendly atmosphere"

"Great stay. Room well equipped with everything we needed. Ski in ski out worked well. We couldn’t get the wifi code to work all week so gave up. We did ask at reception for them to look at it which they did but it still didn’t work. Pool and hot tub great feature though could have been warmer! And perhaps slightly larger as a bit crowded especially at the end of the day. Building could have done with a lick of paint in places but general standard was still very high and was very impressed. Bins, linen and towels changed on multiple occasions. On arrival, the bed and carpet could have been a bit cleaner which let it down slightly. Floors a bit thin but despite being right next to the main door it wasn’t too loud and slept well. Shop nearby good pricing given location. Underground parking very convenient though tight if you have a big car. "
