A beautiful property to walk around, with a large glorious main 'hall' for guests to relax in. Chef had different menus each day and their care for guests was lovely.

Absolutely beautiful, the staff were amazing and very friendly. the room was so inviting , sitting in front of the fire with a glass of Petersons Chardonnay finished off a perfect stay. we will be back.

A great stay.

We stayed 2 nights - with dinner and breakfast both days - all meals were very good - breakfast was included with the room. Also included was a complimentary wine tasting which was excellent. The room was large and well appointed - the bathroom was very large and spotlessly clean. Sarah checked us in on arrival, did our wine tasting and served our dinner - she is excellent. The property is lovely - it is outside of town so very quiet. The hotel is a lovely place to stsy for 1 night or while touring the area.

Step back in time

just beautiful and private. Bedroom was huge with glorious roomy bathroom. Furnishing all suited the period home. Restaurant was very romantic and just us that night. Gardens lovely to walk around. Though we missed cellar door as closes at 4pm. But had all on menu & could order tasting plate for your room. Highly recommend just beautiful

Lovely restored heritage guesthouse with 7 spacious suites with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast had limited choices. The crockery used didn’t match the grandure of the house. The gardens and tennis court needed work.

Beautiful location and service all round

This was a lovely place. The staff were welcoming and helpful. They explained how to order breakfast for the following morning and also the options for dinner. We had a lovely two course meal; a seafood pasta dish as a starter for both of us and then I had the pork loin with veges and my husband had duck breast. Both were well prepared and tasty. We shared a bottle of the winery’s verdehllo and a bottle of sparkling water. The prices were very reasonable and we had a thoroughly enjoyable meal. Our room was very comfortable and we were enchanted by the ambiance of the whole guesthouse. Breakfast was included and after leaving our order with staff the evening before, we had a nice meal prior to our departure. Definitely a beautiful place to stay with lots of old world charm.
