"Bed linen and towels were very old and need replacing. Had to make the beds ourselves and were instructed to un make and fold all linen and towels when leaving. Pillows were old saggy cushions. Only 1 roll of toilet paper supplied for 4 days stay in an apartment that takes 5 people. Told to buy our own toilet paper. Not very convenient as approx 1k out of town. All in all not comfortable and poor value for money. "

"Super ébergement, on était 2 adultes, Malgré des problèmes de retard...Virginie nous à attendu , il était 21 h !Personne très sympathique et dévouée! je reviendrai!"

"An excellent place to stay for holidays in the Pyrénées with a car, whizzing around the Camino De Santiago. The staff are very kind and helpful - the place is run by a young couple who own the place. They maintain the property and serve the guests themselves. They're wonderfully kind and friendly, offering recommendations of places to visit, tourist destinations and things to do. There is breakfast of local produce which is included in the price and can be taken outside on the nice little balcony facing the stream. The sound of the stream is lovely, like white noise in the background, and it is refreshing to be by the water, particularly in thr heatwave. There is no AC but there are fans in each room which provide enough cooling to sleep well. The windows also have shutters which keep the heat out well during the day. In the evening, you can opt in to have tapas dinner which costs extra - homemade croquettes and other local produce, including local sheep cheese aged to varying degrees. Overall, a fantastic, peaceful and quaint stay with the friendliest of hosts."

"Nous avons passé un excellent week-end dans cette magnifique maison à l'occasion d'un anniversaire entre amis. La maison est parfaitement équipée, très confortable et conforme à la description. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la piscine, les espaces de vie agréables et l'emplacement idéal pour profiter de la région.Le cadre est calme, agréable et propice à la détente. Tout était réuni pour passer un séjour mémorable. Un grand merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil et leur disponibilité. Nous recommandons cette location sans hésitation et reviendrons avec plaisir !"

"The room was very clean & bright. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The hotel was in the centre of this lovely town (Espelette) & next to the shops. I understand the breakfasts are well liked but I didn’t eat breakfast there. The was a helpful book re trails including the one to the top of the hill right opposite my bedroom window. I enjoyed the 11+ miles & 3 hills hike. The All Trails App nicely led the way. On the morning I left (early)!to hike up La Rhune (the highest hill in the Pyrenees) a mere 10miles away & near the Spanish border. An amazing experience and the hotel was very well located for both these hikes…"

"le gîte est superbe , propre, très bien aménagé (literie, accessoires de cuisines, mobilier de jardin), bien situé face aux premiers contreforts pyrénéens, la vue est superbe. L'accueil de Monique et d'Anais est sympathique et attentive. La situation est idéale pour visiter le pays basque, randonner en vélo (E vélo pour nous!), ou se mesurer aux dénivelés pyrénéens . En bref : super séjour!"
