Luxury spacious cottage in prime location

Completely rebuilt cottage designed to reflect the heritage values of Arrowtown in its exterior appearance, while ensuring modern day space and comfort inside. It is in the heart of the historic quarter - an easy 3 minute walk to the main street and its shops, cafes and restaurants or to the lovely walkways by the Arrow river.
The house has been finished to a very high specification with oak woodwork throughout, granite and oak professional kitchen with high quality appliances (Bosch, Siemens, Rangemaster range oven and induction hob) and luxurious bathroom and ensuite.

There are 8 sets of French doors throughout the property and these, coupled with the enormous roof windows in the living area, give the house a real feeling of light and space.

In the Winter, the cottage which is double/triple glazed is exceptionally warm and cosy with a wood burning fire (wood supplied) in the sitting room, along with a heat pump and Noirot wall heaters in every bedroom plus underfloor heating in the bathrooms.

In the Summer, the garden is a sun trap and has plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the roses, lavender and herbs and an outside eating area with both stone and Weber gas barbecue.
An HRV system keeps the house well ventilated and at an optimum temperature.
Nespresso coffee machine. Unlimited broadband.
Arrowtown offers a central base for the year round traveller to explore all that the beautiful Central Otago region has to offer. Arrowtown is just 15 minutes drive from Queenstown and 50 minutes from Wanaka. Idyllic Lake Hayes - perfect for swimming and boating is just 10 minutes away.

Arrowtown itself is quiet and quaint with rich gold mining history. The beautiful Arrow River flows through the town, also a great swimming spot in summer. There are also many boutique shops, cafes and restaurants and a delightful cinema.

Golf, Wineries, walking and cycling tracks (part of the Wakatipu Cycle Trail) complete the picture for the summer with the three ski fields (Coronet Peak, Remarkables and Cardrona) at your door step for the winter.

I stayed with my husband, infant, and parents. The property was very well set up and felt like home away from home during our time in Arrowtown. The location allows easy walking (even our toddler could walk do it!) to restaurants, shops, and an extensive trail network, but is still private, quiet and peaceful.the host was very helpful in sssisting with our stay. This property was perfect. Well maintained and very spacious. We had a fantastic stay. Only a short stroll to the main street and restaurants, and an easy drive to anywhere in Queenstown. Liz's communication and attention to detail were superb. We'd highly recommend.

Location is wonderful, toxic cleaning odor in house that did not diffuse away with windows open

Arrowtown is a unique and wonderful town. The cottage is in walking distance to everything...shops, restaurants, market and the river. Upon arriving in the cottage there was an overwhelming odor of a cleaning solvent emanating mostly from the laundry room. It smelled like mothballs to the extreme. I opened windows and doors to air out the house. By the third day of my visit, I woke up to a full blown asthma attack. The dishwasher in the kitchen needs to be anchored to the cabinetry. The entire dishwasher falls forward when door is opened.

Welcoming luxurious cottage close to township with very helpful owner

We had a lovely stay for the week of the NZ Golf Open. Like being at home. All the facilities we required were here. The first day was raining and cold and we lit the fire. Then the other days got warmer and warmer and we used the fan or air conditioner or opened all of the doors, so we were always comfortable. Well insulated cottage with a very welcoming feel. Very quiet. Would stay again.

A lovely spot in a great location, high quality, clean accommodation generously stocked with supplies. A couple of minor recommendations; a dishcloth; facecloths - I can appreciated the concern with makeup but what about a dark face cloth?; a few more clothes hangers. Jack's cottage is a very comfortable, homey cottage with everything that is needed for a holiday home, including well equipped kitchen, great living space and lots of chopped wood for the fire - it was cold outside! It is very close to Arrowtown, which is another plus as both we and the kids love not always having to get in the car to go out. We hope to go back.
