"The staff was amazing! My daughter got sick in the night. The staff was quick to replace the bedding. And brought extra blankets and water. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful"

"Water pressure in the room was horrible, both in shower and the sink,, very very disappointing about the renovations and the harvest room,, overall one of most disappointing stays, the staff, food and service made up for it, otherwise, regretful for the price"

"Great stay, good parking, polite staff, bigger room then I was expecting. Elevator was not working properly and each wait was about 4 minutes and we missed out Uber. Other than that, it was great value for the money. I will use them again and I recommend it to anyone who is going for a sports event."

"This is a great place to stay although Whyte Ave gets a little noisy on a Saturday night. The valet was so handy and it only took about 15-20 mins to get our car, I think they washed it for us on the last day. Staff was super helpful so I think we will stay here again. It is very convenient to get to the U of A where our son is attending. Tons of restaurants and bars nearby."

"The continental breakfast should be open until at least 10:30am. 9:30 is way too early to be closed for the day."

"Overall not bad. Could use an upgrade, especially beds and overall maintenance. The room cleanliness isn’t bad- the hallways and other parts of the hotel could be cleaner. The slide in the pool was struggling to work. The bathroom is quite damp & small even with the fan on."

"It’s always a pleasure to stay at Chateau Lacombe. Beautiful room. Gorgeous supper and drinks in the bar"

"Quiet, friendly staff. Nice meeting spaces and underground parking. Bar area and workspaces were nice and lots of room."

"The hotel is dated and is under renovation. We were very disappointed in Expedia that this was not noted on the website as we paid a substantial rate for this stay. The positive was that the staff were very apologetic and accommodating."

"Room was clean but hallways very hot and no amenities"

"Very nice place, highly recommend"

"Rooms are old and in need of repair and very dark. Had to ask for extra towels, shampoo and body wash were empty in the showers and had to ask for more (large bottles attached to the wall). They also did not do housekeeping between days (stayed two nights), which is fine other then coffee was not replenished."

"Nice kind staff but the water pressure in the bathroom was too low, so it was a bit inconvenient."
