"I don't think we'll be staying there again, even though i'm aware that it is only a two star hotel. There's no consideration to other guests that stay there. Screaming in the corridors, the rooms, no matter what time of day or night it is. Management also don't seem to be bothered by that at all. There's not even a notice of any kind asking guests to consider others that stay there and to keep their noise to a minimum. I also don't want to listen to someone's conversation in the room next door...

"Arrived soaking wet, and was I glad to see the hotel right beside the bridge? fantastic location! after walking from ferrol! and Beatrice at reception is kind of person you hope you will meet booking in to a strange hotel! but never do, super friendly, professional,polite, spoke English much better than my Spanish! fantastic! hope the management know what a asset they have there! and reward her?I loved the old world charm of it! although reading some reviews? you begin to wonder,if they stayed...

"For a quiet, safe, restful stay with free parking. It is located in a semi-secluded area, preferably you need a car. Great stay...fantastic service and YES, I would stay there again. I stayed there on my own, this time, however, I would book the self contained chalets (that's what I call them) when I return with my family."

The reception gave us a map and explained the essentials to explore the city (landmarks, dining, marketplace etc.). Room size was decent and with good heating/air-conditioning. "We stayed 3nights at the Parador de Ferrol to rest after a long flight from Australia before starting to walk the Camino Ingles. It was a good decision as Ferrol is an interesting town.
