"Two irritants were our door key not functioning on our second day and each morning our prepaid bookings for breakfast not recognised! Staff did sort it but it was annoying. Overall a comfortable and pleasant stay with good, friendly service."

"This is a beautiful hotel just outside Halifax. The price is a great deal considering all of the amenities and the incredible service provided by the staff. An Uber from the train station will cost you no more than 15 pounds. If you want to go into Halifax during the day, you can take the city bus for less than 3 pounds. It stops about a five minute walk from the hotel and takes you right into the center of town. It was better value to stay here and take an Uber to and from the train station and...
