"We loved our romantic weekend here at Serene By the Sea. We celebrated our 25th anniversary with the bottle of prosecco they gave us and chose to spend most of our time just relaxing here. We snorkeled and took the available kayaks out. They even let us borrow fishing poles. I recommend the included breakfast every morning with coffee, juice, toast, fruit & homemade omelets. The wildlife of birds, fish, crabs & lizards on the deck are fun to watch. The room, bed & shower are quiet and comfortable. The view outside to the left and right is very beautiful. We even made reservations for a romantic dinner by the water with chef that included wine & dessert. Other restaurants were walkable like Flying Fishboone and we enjoyed the romantic Old Man & the Sea for dinner over the water in a bungalow. So even though we rented a car to drive round trip to the airport and explore Baby Beach, we just didn’t need to go very far from relaxing in the hammock at Serene By the Sea. Wonderful owners make it even more enjoyable. They even loaned us beach chairs, snorkel gear, towels and gave me fresh cut aloe for our sunburn. Wonderful service. "

"This was by far one of the best vacation rentals we have ever experienced. The property was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The private pool was amazing, peaceful and relaxing. The real show stopper was the beach views and sunsets which were truly unforgettable. The host was friendly, responsive and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We did not want to leave! Thank you for a truly memorable experience and stay!"

"The house is perfect for our 3 generation family. Each bedroom has its own bathroom (plus 2 more!), the closets/dressing areas make unpacking easy, the amenities are all there and the location/views are super. The property manager Lisbeth is just delightful. The common areas are so comfortable for families - especially the pool/patio area. I’d choose it again and again!"

"Let me first say this is not a resort, but if you are into hiking, exploring, roughing it a little, then this is your place. You will find the need to rent a car as the home is closer to the rugged coast and in the middle of the island in Santa Cruz. Recommend four wheel drive. Host are very accommodating and extremely communicative. This is our second time in Aruba, the first time at a resort and the second time at this little gem. We enjoyed our second trip so much more and saw much more of the island this time. You have a view of the rough cost, ocean and sunrise every morning. PROS - free WIFI, private pool, large bar area, great location, with car you can get to any spot on the island in 30 minutes. Outside shower separate from the main living area. Stove, fridge, microwave, utensils and cookware. Plenty of outside chairs. Cooler to take to the beach along with towels and beach towels. Also you can save on bottled water, we bought a few and refilled from the tap, the water on Aruba is one of the cleanest in the world. Also , TV with cable. The outside area is amazing. Our 8 day stay was cheaper than one night in the better all-inclusive resorts. CONS - No washer and dryer. But not a problem for us, we just rinsed our clothes in the sink and hung them on the line. Next time we will pack lighter.In closing this was perfect for my wife and I. Really nice for two people or a small family. If we go a third time we will definitely stay here again. "
