"We drove to Hoshinoya Fuji, as it was dark, the entry towards the check-in area is very easy to missed, suggest to have more road sign leading towards the resort. Once we checked in, there is a car to pick us up to our room up the mountain. The view of Fuji is stunning, if you are lucky enough to see it. "We had a very pleasant and wonderful stay at Ryokan. The excellent service, especially the kaiseki-style breakfast and dinner, provided us with an unforgettable experience full of Japanese culture. The Japanese-style hot spring bath is nice to have. Also the surrounding areas are beautiful with the view of Mt Fuji. We do have two small suggestions: First, the strong tatami smell in the room might be improved with some light incense. Second, the large key for the room door was a bit inconvenient...

"The best place for family/ friends’ staycation! Lovely owners make your trip so special. All the facility is well maintained with cute decors and very clean, everything is equipped. What you should bring is only food and drinks. It is located right next to the beautiful shrine which is Unesco world heritage, and having amazing view of Mt.Fuji from the terrace. We stayed with 2 toddlers and 4 adults but space was more than enough, all of us was really happy to stay in this beautiful property...
