"Our recent trip to this villa was magical. It is genuinely remote and private, up in the hills with great views over the valley, and the sunsets were fantastic every night. The pool was perfect. We went during a hot stretch and being able to cool off with that view was exactly what we needed. Our kids basically lived in it.You are also close to some great little towns. Montisi stood out, an old medieval place that is really charming and worth wandering around. The food in the area is excellent, and the villa’s own olive oil is some of the best we had.The other thing worth mentioning is Luigi. I asked him a ton of questions in the weeks before the trip and he was always quick to respond and gave us great recommendations that shaped our plans. He also set us up with a Tuscan cooking class and arranged a private chef to cook for us at the villa one night, which ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.Highly recommended!
