The lodge features two bedrooms, a kingsize and a twin, with the kingsize room benefiting from an ensuite toilet. The open-plan kitchen, diner, and lounge area provides a welcoming space for socialising, cooking, and dining. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the dining table offers ample space for enjoying meals together. The living area, with its comfortable seating and smart TV, creates the ideal spot for unwinding, while the patio doors open to an enclosed decking area. Additional sleeping space is available with a double sofa bed in the lounge. Parking for up to two cars, or one larger vehicle, is conveniently provided.
On-site amenities include a shop, a playground, laundrette and a swimming pool which can all be enjoyed by guests. The park also features a path that connects directly to the Tissington Trail, providing easy access to scenic walks and bike rides through the beautiful countryside.
Just a short drive away, you can explore the renowned Dovedale with its iconic stepping stones, which lead to a challenging but rewarding hike up Thorpe Cloud. From the summit, visitors can enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The High Peak trail is also within easy reach. The nearby towns of Ashbourne, Buxton, Bakewell, and Matlock offer a variety of attractions, from charming local shops and cafes to historic landmarks and picturesque scenery.
For young children head to Matlock Bath to have a fun day out at Gulliver’s Kingdom theme park or a ride on the Heights of Abreham cable cars. Chatsworth House is a must see when visiting Derbyshire, you can walk the grounds or pay for entry to the House, Gardens and Farmyard. Alton Towers theme park is located a short 25 minute drive from the lodge too.
