We booked this cottage for the weekend as my extended family (including children) were staying at Milkmaid's Cottage on the same site for the Easter week. The location is lovely – just 20 mins from Dovedale, 10 mins from Ashbourne – in village that is really lovely with a great pub within walking distance. We were able to use the extensive gardens, which was fantastic with the kids and the dog!
The cottage is ample for two or three people - a big living room, a well equipped kitchen and a small bathroom.
We would recommend this cottage!

We really enjoyed our stay.
We really enjoyed our stay. Very friendly owner who offered us some good advice of where to go walking.
Quiet and peaceful, close to the town of Ashbourne (3 miles) and a great place to travel out into the Peak District from.
We'd stay here again without hesitation. 5*'s from us
