"Stayed here about 10 years ago and then sort of forgot its here, as it’s not really visible from main roads around the airport. However I will be back soon. Very modern, spacious bright hotel. Even if you are visiting Nottingham/Derby area worth thinking of staying here as Skylink buses only cost £3 each way, and you can be in respective city centres in next to no time. Also best breakfast I’ve ever had in a hotel in the U.K. "

"Great hotel some small issues do need to be addressed the taps constantly leaked in the bathrooms we moved rooms when we first arrived as the bathroom taps was leaking we moved to another room and that tap started leaking apart from that no issues staff very attentive and dealt with any issues promptly i would definitely stay again 😀 "

"A lovely stay, very close to Alton Towers. The staff were lovely & the continental breakfast varied & suited us well. The rooms are separate "chalets" with allocated parking spaces next to each front door. We were concerned that staying in a pub may be noisy, but had a very peaceful night's sleep! The beds were very comfy & the family room spacious enough for 2 adults & 2 teenage kids (as long as they are happy in bunk beds!) The rooms are very dated & could do with a freshen up. They could also do with a really thorough clean, the corners etc. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay."

"Good comfortable room, lots of tea, coffe, nice bar and lovely grounds. Probably would gave rated higher but noisy event on and was awakened by noisy people in the early hours (not hotels fault). Disadvantage is the place is like a rabbit warren and you'll need your hiking boots as rooms are far from reception."
