"My dad and I had a wonderful stay at the Port Albert Inn! The rooms were lovely and the staff were very friendly. The inn is close to a nice sandy beach on Lake Huron. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. I would definitely return next time we're in the area."

"This was a message sent before the trip. I was assured that everything will be cleaned:Good morning I am just now reading some reviews on your property (I know I should have done this before) and noticed the reviews are not very good. The reviews are from 2023...have anything been done to the property since then?I hope it will be cleaned when we get there please. One of the reviews said it not cleaned at all.I would hate to disappoint my family and friends. We are all really looking forward to these few days away FaazyaHere is a list of all the problems I have encounteredupon arrival to the property:- Some of my guests arrived at 2:45 pm and had to wait outside as the house was still being cleaned. At 3:12 pm the kids needed to use the bathroom- BBQ is dirty (picture)- dishwasher dirty and unusable - microwave covered in food splatters - coffee maker is too dirty to be used- beds were not made. Blankets were thrown over unmade beds which means the beds sheets were not changed. this morning everyone complained there beds smelled .- hot tubs doesn't work (everyone was looking forward to using the hot tub)- Towels are old and smelly.- A used bar of soap was left in the bathroom for shower and a used shampoo and conditioner bottle .- towel rack will soon fall off - there is dust and cobweb everywhere. every surface is covered in dust.to be honest I am very embarrassed that I brought my family to this place. the experience has been very bad so far."
"We had a fabulous stay at this property. The location is fantastic and easy to get to. The cottage itself is beautiful, very new and clean!! All the rooms and shared living spaces were spacious and clean. Plenty of showers and bathrooms which made it easy for a group of 10. And lots to do with the available amenities and the large backyard. The beach was also fantastic. Private and shallow enough. Only draw back is the steps to the beach which is clearly stated in the booking so it was not a surprise.We would definitely stay here again!!! "
