"Disappointed our room was not made up had to phone reception and ask them to make it up no hot water at the bathroom sink tap staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was good very picturesque hotel in lovely well maintained grounds excellent spa overall a very nice few days stay."

"I would like to ask for a full refund really but I know I won't get one. We were left in property on our own and told to lock up when we come and go. The sheets on the beds were dirty. Bathroom dirty. Tea and coffee in the room but no milk. We left at half 4 in the morning with little or no sleep at all. Terrible place "

"A great place to stay for us as a stop over on the way to France via the tunnel (20 mins drive).Really comfortable beds, very clean, newly renovated, with a small sitting room and two beds with 2 bathrooms. Just what we were looking for and they let dogs stay. We usually stay in a Premier Inn but this was far better value, plus the pub downstairs was excellent. Good choice of beer, great food and perfect hospitality - what more could you ask for?? Fully recommended!"

"Lovely hosts. The cottage was clean, comfortable and very well equipped, don’t worry if you’ve forgotten anything! Has been decorated since photographs were taken so now more country cottage than Scandinavian. Terrace and outside of property very dusty but it is a farm yard and the weather was extremely hot. "A wonderful 4 nights spent at Romden farm, couldnt have been bette. It was great, just to open the back door and walk for miles with the dogs, come back chill out and relax in the hot tub in the evenings. At the big pond we enjoyed feeding the fish and watching the barn owl hunt at dusk. The barn was clean, comfortable and the perfect place to get away from everything. The owners made us feel so welcome we will definitley be back in the future."
