They then showed me around and proceeded to assist with carrying luggage up the stairs to my room, above and beyond customer service - as with everywhere in Japan. "This was a very central hotel, ideal for visting all the sites on foot. The gardens, museums, samurai district and geisha districts were easily accessible.
The breakfast was good with a wide selection of food.
There were free drinks in the evening."

The location, across from the JR station, is very convenient and it's easy to get around the city by walking or bus from the hotel. Rooms are a good size, in excellent condition and have great views. The breakfast buffet is large, varied and of excellent quality. The staff are are also superb. "
