"This place was absolutely wonderful. I wish I’d found it sooner. After a tiny hotel room in Osaka this was an amazing, luxurious room. I loved it. If I ever return this is the type of place I will focus on finding here."

"Close to airport via a taxi ride. Very comfortable room! Has a very nice onsen. Would need to take a taxi to get anyplace"

"Other than an isolated experience with one staff member, the rest of this staff and every other aspect of the stay was exceptional. Corporate was extremely responsive to my situation. I would stay here again."

"I love the Tanbo no Yu! I can tell that its being fixed up more everytime I come here! This time, really enjoyed the pure stream bath it was very warm and a comfortable place to chat with my husband. The food was delicious and healthy with many flavors and unlimited hokuriku rice! I definitely be back again!"

"Great stay!!"

"Very convenient location near Kanazawa Station and bus terminal. There is a nice department store cross the street and lots of places to eat. The hotel has a very clean, minimalist, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast had a good selection of Japanese food. If you like walking it is walking distance to Kanazawa Castle and the fish market. I would recommend this hotel for solo travelers."

"It was a wonderfully unique experience to stay at this Japanese hotel with a private onsen bath in our room. I would recommend staying at least 2 nights as it is in a remote location 40 min from downtown Kanazawa. They have a free shuttle to and from Kanazawa that you need to organize with the hotel. The multi-course Japanese breakfast in a private room was a treat. The staff was very responsive and helpful despite not speaking much English.
