We had everything we needed, and the cabin is very comfortable. We weren’t able to walk the property, but we enjoyed being able to watch the wildlife from the deck. The sunsets are absolutely amazing.

My friend, our three kids, and I stayed at this house while we explored the Apostle Islands area. It was a good launching point for our day trips. The house was very clean and tidy, and it had everything we needed.

Easy drive from Ashland We stayed two nights Nice view of fields and ponds We saw deer We hiked the trails One of the goals was to do some star gazing And we did, but unfortunately our schedule collided with a full moon which washed out most of the sky 😢 But the moon 🌕 was nice. And we saw some constellations.

Group of 8 friends just looking for a weekend get away. This was a very cozy place for us to stay. We toured the Ashland area and then stayed nestled into our VRBO and played cards and laughed together. This was a perfect set up for the fun we were looking for.

This house was clean & fully equipped. The deck offered beautiful views of the wetlands, trails & sunset. It is so quiet except for the sound of the birds yet close to Ashland and all of the activities we wanted to do. Would definitely like to stay here again.

We were here for four days. It is amazing! The building was newly renovated, comfortable and attractive. There are three miles of mowed trails. The property is lovely, lots of deer, birds and ducks. It is private with little light pollution, giving you a wonderful view of the stars and planets. The Milky Way was brilliant. We are looking forward to returning this winter to Cross Country Ski.

Super comfortable cabin in a wonderful wilderness setting. This sweet cabin had everything we needed including nice views from many window. Lots of wildlife and great sunsets off the deck. We enjoyed X-skiing and snowshoeing right out the back door, with many trails to play on. Great ice fishing and stream/lake fishing very close by. We had a fantastic stay in the winter and will definitely be back come summer!

10/10

We enjoyed watching the swans, bull frogs, blue birds, deer and more from the house (great spotting scope from living room window). The house is modern, clean and well-appointed and the perfect place to come back to after a day of adventure: mountain bike riding the CAMBRA trails, kayaking sea caves, hiking at Copper Falls State Park, etc. We loved both the house and the area and hope to be back again!

Quiet area, fully stocked kitchen with spices and anything you can possibly imagine. It’s almost like walking into your own home. Everything is there. Love seeing deer walk past every day. Short ride to Copper Falls and Bayfield.

The home in the middle of a nature preserve was beautiful. However it was less than 10 minutes from Ashland and the Lake Superior waterfront. We had deer in the yard and am quite confident that we saw an eagle sitting on the same branch of the dead tree that is in the promotional photos. We had an enjoyable experience!

This was a great place for my family, 3 kids, 15, 12 and 10. My husband and my mom and dad. We had plenty of space. If you like nature, this is your place. My kids love animals and love to be outdoors. Plenty of mowed trails to walk along. We saw deer, turkeys, otters, many bird species and a turtle showed up in the back yard. We would definitely book again. It is close to Ashland, Bayfield and Madeline Island. Internet is slow which I liked so we could unplug, slow down and use old school ways to seek out our adventures. Great Place!

We thoroughly enjoyed the house and property, with easy access to Ashland, Bayfield, and state parks. The house was very accommodating for both a toddler and grandparents. We were unable to see from the pictures that all bedrooms were on the bottom floor. The many stairs were somewhat difficult for persons with physical disability. While it did not keep us from enjoying the house, it might be useful to note this information in your description. We would definitely book this house again.

This was a very nice clean home to stay. It had everything a person needed. Very peaceful. The owners were very helpful with everything. It would have gotten 5 stars except for the mile of gravel road, we were on motorcycles otherwise that would have been fine also. We wish WI FI would have been included in the price as other places we have stayed it was included in the price. A hot tub would be great also. We would recommend this property .

We stayed at the property a monday-thursday and were all quite pleased with the lodgings. There were seven of us total and all were quite comfortable. We enjoyed walking the property, as did my dog who enjoyed the new smells. We saw a couple does with fawns and at a distance saw and heard a pair of sandhill cranes, also enjoyed listening to the bull frogs call. We had a bonfire one night, but it was short as the mosquitos also wanted to join the party, hardly surprising for the location and time of year. All in all an excellent stay!

Not only was this a beautiful home to rent but the property outside of Ashland was amazing. The wildlife was abundant and we could relax in the peacefulness. It is only 10 minutes from town and the city of Ashland has so much to offer! The house was very well stocked altho we didn't cook a lot except to grill out for a gathering. The owners are so wonderful to work with and we will definitely come back if we need a 3 bedroom place! Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise.

The house was very well equipped with everything we could possibly need. We were disappointed in having to drive 1 mile on a dirt road. Our recently washed vehicle was very dirty after 2 days of traveling on that dirt road. The mosquitoes were unbelievably awful. The grandkids could not play outside but we’re kept occupied looking at all the animal mounts in the house. All in all a pretty good stay.
