Bathrooms were lovely but the house smelt of smoke as the cleaner smoked in there before arrived. Some of the shutters didn't work and some of the locks didn't work on the windows. "This is a gem of a property. Traditional Spanish house with quirky decor. Exceptionally well equipped for a long or short stay. Very comfortable bed, good modern shower and a beautiful view of city, sea and castle from the sunny roof terrace. Great location close to transport links, fresh food market and restaurants. "This is our second time staying as a family at Bluesky house in Gran Alicant. The owners of the house are extremely helpful and answered a few questions I had before we arrived. Swimming pool open down the road between May and September and a good size and a lovely beach a 10-15 min walk down a steep hill. You have everything you need in the house and a nice patio to soak up the morning sunshine. Lovely places to explore nearby, we visited a few towns on the buses and used the buses to get back...
