10/10 Excellent

"Great hotel right in Times Square, within minutes from Broadway shows and fairly close to main NY attractions. Staff was very helpful, personable, and professional. Our room was a two queen bed and it was a pretty decent size for NY. The daily breakfast vouchers were an awesome perk, with lots of options within the hotel restaurants or at a nearby place with great pizza and sandwiches. The only slight problem was the noise, which we expected to have from being right in a busy area. Would recommend!"

"Staff was all amazing and extremely kind. The property needs some love though. Leaky bathroom in a few ways (sink and toilet). One day all the main elevators to our floor were out all day…walked down 28 flights of stairs to get out and then to get back up we were able to take the service elevators which somehow didn’t go to floor 28 (at least only one flight of stairs to get to our room this time lol). Rooms are outdated and worn. Location is excellent though. All around decent stay but cost felt high for status/condition of the property (especially rooms) compared to my previous stays at other (more upscale) locations in NYC."

"People at front desk were very helpful and nice. Location was perfect and The room was clean and property was nice. However, we got a room with a “pull out couch” and one of us planned to sleep on it… this is NOT a viable sleeping arrangement!!! You can not sleep on this. It is worn out and the most uncomfortable spot to lay on!!! Please do not be fooled by an “extra” sleeping spot. Your back and legs and hips will be extremely angry !!"

"Overall do not recommend this hotel. There appears to be a shortage of cleaning staff. When we arrived for check-in 30 min past their recommended time they told us that our room was not cleaned and ready due to cleaning staff shortage. Apparently no other room was available either for check-in. There was no communication before arrival as a heads up on the situation and staff were unable to give any ongoing updates so we waiting 1.5hrs for our room to be ready. The other noted issue is unless you were out of your room by 09:00am you would not get cleaning service despite having the tag in your door to request it. We had to request for more towels. The other odd thing about the hotel is there is no phone in the room to request anything or ask questions. You would either communicate through hotels.com messaging or go all the way down to the front desk."
