"The Hotel is simply amazing Historic and Pristine And other than an issue with the Server at the French/Main Dining Room everything else was fantastic Staff was extremely fine and you have to watch the Video of the 2018-2020 Gut Restoration to truly see what went into the Hotel. It's a Gem. As is the whole area Don't miss the Open Area Museum"

"Wonderful, hot tub and room! Only question is why are they so stingy with towels? Only one towel per guest a day for both the hot tub and bath. "

"Beautiful lobby with breath taking views of Lake Ashi, with modern amenities and plenty of Japanese touche. Free shuttle bus to Odarwa station and the fact Hakone ropeway and Pirate ship is only 5mins walk away. There’s coffee in the lobby and ice tea to settle in when you arrive. The onsen is great for those who dare to bath naked or you can opt for private onsen for a fee. Live the fact they had 2 electric massage chairs just outside the baths to wind down. Also you can book for massage at their onsite facility. Breakfast and dinner buffet was great - the only down side was it was repeated so could get a little boring if you stayed more than 2 nights. Overall, highly recommend this place. Came with my two kids who were under 10."

"Our stay here was magical. The staff were attentive and helpful. The area was so beautiful and peaceful surrounded by forest. The public onsen was empty both times we used it so actually quite private and so relaxing!! The hotel were so kind and decorated our room for our honeymoon. The food was sublime, I would definitely recommend getting dinner, and our special fruit plate was such a sweet touch. Wearing the traditional dress and staying in the paper walled rooms felt so authentic and made our honeymoon so special. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! ❤️‍🔥"

"A good, no-frills stay. The room was small but clean and comfortable, exactly what you’d expect from a simple, affordable Japanese business hotel. The location is great — easy walk to plenty of spots for food, drinks, and a bit of nightlife. Nothing fancy, but it does the job perfectly if you just need a solid place to spend the night."
