Excellent hotel

I booked Diros Hotel for my 5 nights stay in Greece and I have to say that is one of the best hotels I have ever been to. Excellent customer service, the receptionist I did the check out with was friendly and smiling all the time. Quite a warm welcome and so as the other receptionist. 5 star customer service. The room was also nice, a comfortable bed with a modest bathroom, I really enjoyed the views that I got from my balcony, although I would suggest the hotel to replace he balcony table as it is a bit old, other than that, it's perfect. In terms of location, the hotel is close to Omonia and is well linked to most of the interest places such as :monuments, museums, restaurants etc. I will definitely recommend this hotel as they did treat me very good. Thanks Diros Hotel and thanks Greece. 😍😍🇬🇷🇬🇷

The staff were very helpful and the rooms were small but very clean. There was graffiti on the adjacent buildings, but we took an uber to the hotel at night rather than walk. However, I felt safe in the hotel. We stayed two nights and it was a good choice.

Excellent, Hotel good location

Decent hotel very close to Omonia Station Metro and also close to Acropolis. Got a nice 7th floor room. Room was clean and spotless with AC and a balcony. Bathroom could definitely do with modernisation but at the price point I thought it was a nice hotel. Would 100% stay again

The room size was perfect, however, both air conditioning unit and fridge didn't work. The bathroom is a joke! Small space with sink, toilet and a tiny square base with an overly long curtain. Faucet is affixed a couple feet above ground and is meant for a tub. Had to tie the shower head with a string to the curtain railing. Water gets all over the floor. No wonder there's a floor drain and the floor slopes just a little. Pity the bathroom is in such a state, as location is optimal. Walked to all the attractions.

Did not care for shower! Clean but holding my arm above my head to rinse myself off is ridiculous. Its 5 minute walk they from the metro train and bus is across the street. But 15 minutes walk to center of Athen where there are tons of food and roof top bars

It's a very low-quality hotel. It's located in a less-than-safe area. Be careful what you book, as the Expedia forums are far from the truth. The bathroom is terrible. Everything is terrible.

Very disappointed

The room wasn't clean and the bathroom was in an unacceptable condition 🙄 . This destroyed my holidays in Athens and unfortunately the staff didn't provide another room in a better situation. I could add some photos 📸 which appear the bad situation of the residence.

The hotel itself is very nice. The staff is superb and very responsive. There is no available parking right at the property. We did get a small Fiat 500, and was able to park at the hotel front when the business next to it was closed at night. There is parking near the hotel with a 2 minute walk. That is where some of the drug addicts hang out. But surprisingly, they left us alone. Panos, Mikey, Mary and Dimitra are awesome at their jobs. Very friendly staff. Very helpful. The room was clean. Plus when we asked for housekeeping to clean, bring fresh towels. They even fixed up our beds. The shower was small. Plus there was no actual shower head. It was hand held. There were no funny smells. Places to eat were nearby. Souvenir shops were near too. The Metro station was nearby as well. Oskarini on the square was a good gyro place. The owner Adem is a funny guy. Attiki bakery at the square had pastries to die for. Watch out for pick pockets on the train. These are out of towners that prey on tourists. But all in all Diros Hotel 🏨 was good to us. We will be back, because the staff was nice. We will also tell others to go there and stay. The elevator also talks in English and Greek. Ektos Osorofos… sixth floor 😁
