This facility has no onsite person for checkin. Just like an air b &b. The worst part is no any where mention this, not in Expedia when you booked it. No any email ahead to give you instruction about how to get your key. I messaged this hotel in Expedia account and asked for help with taxi a day before. But they mentioned nothing about no person onsite for checkin. Imagine that you get at the hotel door and don t know how to get into your room! The location is really convenient. Room is decent in terms of its size. It faces two streets, very noisy. Bathroom is smelly. The shower had no hot water. Later on we were told to turned on a switch and wait for 5 min for hot water. What I am very upset about is not these issues but no upfront communication!

De kamer was schoon, de locatie is top en het personeel is behulpzaam en aardig. Alleen zou ik persoonlijk de volgende keer ergens anders verblijven, en dit is waarom: De kamer kan niet volledig verduisterd worden, zelfs niet met de gordijnen, wat het slapen lastig maakt. Daarnaast is het bed vrij stevig en daardoor niet erg comfortabel. Ook krijg je lakens in plaats van dekens; voor ons was dat wennen en het hielp ook niet bij het zelf creëren van extra verduistering. Verder heeft de douche een beperkte warmwatercapaciteit. Voor Athene schijnt dat vrij standaard te zijn, maar houd er rekening mee dat je niet lang van warm water kunt genieten. Vanwege de centrale locatie is het ’s avonds erg luid en rumoerig, wat wij niet prettig vonden. Gelukkig mochten we onze koffers nog achterlaten na het uitchecken, alleen werden deze in de gang geplaatst. Dat voelde wat onveilig en diefstalgevoelig aan. Het personeel is wel echt supervriendelijk en behulpzaam, maar persoonlijk zou ik de volgende keer liever iets meer betalen voor een relatief betere accommodatie.

Our stay at Athens Version Luxury Suites was okay overall, but there were definitely some inconveniences. The hotel was a little hard to find when we first arrived, and when we got there no one was at the front desk and the door was locked. We didn’t realize we needed a PIN for the keypad ahead of time. Thankfully, the receptionist was very nice and friendly, came to let us in, and provided the PIN. The entryway/hallway is narrow, and the elevator is small — only one person with about two pieces of luggage can fit at a time, but the receptionist and the housekeeper offered to bring our luggage to our room. Another thing to know is that the hot water has to be turned on manually with a wall switch about 15 minutes before showering, and it only lasted around 15–20 minutes. During our one-night stay, the WiFi and streaming did not work well until just a few hours before we left, and the cable TV was glitchy. The hotel is also located in a very lively party area, so it was a bit noisy at night. Another setup was that the room lights only worked when the key card was inserted into the holder slot, which also seemed to be the only way to charge our phones. Luckily, we were still able to turn the lights off, so we didn’t have to sleep with them on. Overall, the staff were friendly and helpful and we are appreciative for their hospitality before heading to Crete the next day.

The corner room was amazing ! The views were beautiful the room was new and gorgeous! Very Luxurious! Thr bathroom was large and beautiful… so clean ! Loved the balcony and the cool room lighting …. Nice, clean, studio apt in great location. Was nice to have microwave, needs a small dining set. More like a vacation rental with daily room services than a hotel - very limited staff hours at stairwell landing /lobby. No elevator, hard low beds and furniture, very small but manageable bathroom. Blaring rock music track from outside repeating for hours very disturbing on first night. Owners attentive and accommodating however, small pad lock on stored luggage was missing at pickup. Nothing else noticeable missing.

Stayed for a week at The Athens Version Luxury Suites in a Superior room with a view of the Temple of Hephaestus and very happy that we chose this hotel. The hotel is perfectly located near Monastiraki Square and is a short 5 minute walk to the Monastiraki Metro station. There is a rooftop patio with an excellent view of the Acropolis and we enjoyed having drinks in the evening relaxing and looking out over the city. The location was perfect. Within a 3-minute walk there are probably 20 restaurants, and dozens more within a 15 minute walk. We were also able to walk to the Parthenon, the Ancient Agora, Syntagma Square, and Plaka. The room was clean and had a nice selection of coffees and teas. It included a kitchen sink, refrigerator, and microwave. The air conditioner kept us cool in the 90F degree heat. Olga, who greeted us upon arrival and showed us around, is a true angel. She arranged transportation for us to and from the airport. On the day we were supposed to check out my wife got sick and Olga arranged for a doctor to come to our room. If you are looking for a place that is centrally located, clean, with great views, and excellent service, I highly recommend Athens Version Luxury Suites!

A great place to stay close to the city centre without being in it. Good for the metro. Great views from the roof top terrace. On the edge of the flea market so ideal if you like browsing and antiques. The small kitchen area allows you to have your own breakfast goods. A kettle and coffee pod machine were great. We stayed 1 night before boarding a cruise and the owners let us leave cases while we explored Athens. Great, friendly communications from them

Small narrow hotel with mini 2 person or person/luggage elevator. Rooms are large with 2 or 3 per floor. Had help with luggage taken up to room upon arrival (several trips) but had to haul our own down at checkout. Very convienient location. Walking to shopping and restaurants. Needed to flip breaker every time for hot water and wait or take a cold shower. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Maid serviced every day.
