The photo of the swimming pool is misleading, it’s a plunge pool at best. The flat was well equipped, comfy beds and sofa. External shutters meant total blackout in the bedrooms which was great for a lie in. The air conditioning is noisy. It could do with a bit of tlc.

We stayed at the Edge for a week in late October. Sadly, the rooftop pool wasn't heated and too cold to enjoy. The building looks like it is about 5 years old and is quite nice, but the only new building around. It has a nice gym, and our apartment had a kitchenette and separate bedroom. They sound proofed the windows pretty well, but there is a busy 4 lane road just outside, so it can still be noisy. Just a miles walk to the Acropolis and a half mile to groceries and restaurants.

Had a super huge apartment. Fantastic value for the price. Neighbourhood wasn't the best but close to bus and walkable to sites. Pool was small but refreshing and had fantastic rooftop views. Air conditioning wasnt working properly but the fan circulated quite well.

2 bedroom Apartment was excellent. Was a 25 minute walk to the Acropolis. Had everything you need. Beds were comfy and the airconditioning was great. We were on ground floor apartment with our outdoor patio.

We had the two bedroom apartment with the big patio on ground floor, very nice, very clean and modern. Easy check in following the instructions from the host. Good location close to archeological attractions. Thank you.

Unit was great for a family of 4. Very clean with everything you need for a stay. Location is a bit of a walk from the main attraction area of the acropolis and surrounding restaurants. 25 min or so. The pool and are is very small. Ok for a quick cool off but you wouldt really spend any time sitting by it.

Luxury on a budget

I recently stayed here for a business trip with a little leisure thrown in. The Edge is in a great location for getting to both Athens centre and the beach using public transport which is just short walk away. There are numerous bars, cafes and restaurants all very well priced just a short walk away in the lively and vibrant Kallithea centre. The apartment also has several supermarkets within a short walk. The Edge is modern, clean and comfortable with good security (window shutters, door catch/viewer and in-room safe) and all the cooking/washing facilities needed, all of which are in excellent condition. Great WiFi, TVs in living room and bedroom and efficient air conditioning. Nice to have the pool and gym facilities and there is a great view from the roof terrace where the pool is located. Overall, great experience and good value for money. Liana from My Greek Vacations was great at communicating and very helpful throughout our stay. Will definitely stay there again if I am back in Athens.

Lovely little place just outside the city centre.

Quick overview: Really lovely stay, no big complaints, great size and amenities, just ensure you understand the location before booking. Very comfortable apartment, nice sofa and bed. Aircon was exceptional. Very spacious, plenty of clothes storage. Good ammenities, we used the oven and fridge/freezer and had no problems. Microwave appeared to not work. Good amount of crockery too. Nice look and feel to the place, modern style, good lighting. Small downsides: only 2 windows, 1 facing an alley and the other covered with a shutter, which wasn't clear how/if we could open. The WiFi didn't work, but I did not mention this to the landlord, so I can't comment on their helpfulness. There was a strange smell (almost fishy) every time we entered the apartment, but either it dissappated quickly once the aircon was on, or we got used to it. Pool was a little disappointing. Clever photography. It's only 0.8m deep and maybe 2mx8m. Not for swimming, but still great for cooling off and people watching the city below. (Can't see the acropolis). A short walk from Athens centre, around 30minutes to get to the acropolis/bottom of plaka, around 45minutes to Syntagma Square. No clear/easy bus routes nearby, and no metro, but we had no issues walking up and back each day as it was a straight street with plenty of shade. Only 4-7euros for a taxi into the Plaka district so very reasonable. Numerous supermarkets/shops and eateries along the street to the Acropolis.

Spotless with great facilities

We had a lovely stay in our apartment. We walked to the Acropolis from the apartment and once we’d navigated the bus system, we found it was accessible to most places. The pool area was nice to relax in at the end of the day.
