"Room was clean, but very inconvenient---some of the electricity wasnt working! There was no closet, or areas to hang up clothes. Free breakfast advertised was false! There was none. Pool was not functional, not even able to sit at patio area. Stayed and paid for 2 nights, but room was never cleaned, nor were more washclothes, etc provided. Lobby was closed entire stay. When I complained about paying full price for less than adequate service, the staff was unresponsive."

It seemed to be reasonably clean although the grout in the bathroom floor was heavily stained. The bathroom overall was nice and had obvious new renovations. The problems were small but annoying. "This is a cute property and has been made to feel like home. 2 bathrooms 3 bedrooms 2 pull out couches-we did not use, a washer and dryer and a fully functioning kitchen,-no dishwasher-unless you count yourself as one. We loved our stay. Our Athens Alabama experience was amazing. This property is right on the shore of the Elk River.
