Our family absolutely loved staying on this property on Clear Lake!! We did a few day trips while we were there, up to Mackinac Island, and up to see the pictured rocks of Lake superior. The lake house was more beautiful than it is in the pictures! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything that we needed, and the deck by the lake was amazing! We used the kayaks, went fishing, swam a lot, used the fire pit, and walked the trail around the lake. We will definitely be back!

Comfortable cottage on beautiful northern Michigan lake

Cottage was clean, modern, and pleasant. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a stay on a beautiful lake. The cottages on this lake are close together so there is much outdoor privacy, but we still had a great time and got to meet the neighbors./ Overall, would defintiely recommend a stay here!

Great Ice Fishing Getaway

The property is just as advertised. The cottage is comfortable, clean and has nice finishings. The location on Clear Lake puts you on a well managed lake for ice fishing and close to other good producers. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will be booking again in the future.

From my first message to Sydney, which was replied to quickly, I knew that we had made the right choice of cottage for our annual family vacation. The cottage is located on *gorgeous* Clear Lake north of Atlanta, Michigan. The cottage faces directly west & the sunsets are absolutely perfect. The lake is as clear as it's name suggests, and was not crowded at all due to the state land that surrounds about 2/3 of the lake. There is a state park on that land, the few people on jet skis were outnumbered by fishermen in small boats or by the occasional pontoon boat circling the lake. The cottage itself is nicely set up and was clean as could be. There are two full bathrooms which is nice. Don't let the fact that the cottage only has two bedrooms discourage you. Both rooms are *quite* large. The first floor bedroom has two queen beds & a single/single bunk bed. The second floor bedroom has a queen, a single, & a set of bunk beds as well. Rooms have enough space & do not feel cramped despite the number of beds in each room. There's long concrete driveway & room for as many cars as you would need to park. There's a screened in porch on the front of the cottage - we loved it and hope it never gets removed :-) - as well as a small deck with 4 chairs & a nice Weber propane grill. The main deck at water's edge has a picnic table, lots of chairs, & a propane firepit. The view from the deck is fabulous!Great vacation! Sydney is a great host, too. You won't be disappointed!

Absolutely awesome property!

Everything was absolutely wonderful! The host was so great in helping us determine if the wheelchair we were traveling with would work in the house - very much appreciated that. The one and only negative was that they left their pontoon at the dock for the week when we notified that we were bringing our own - and our’s didn’t fit well on tiny opposite side of dock….and a dock pole ended up breaking. Would stay again - LOVED IT!
