"This chalet was a perfect location for a friends trip to Bar Harbor. 20 minutes north of Bar Harbor we were easily able to access the town, local restaurants and then have our own secluded stay on the water. The view is stunning from the back deck, and the quick 3 minute walk left me speechless at the beauty. I didn't expect to see seals yet everyday they were there near and on the rocks in the water. We watched many shooting stars on the clear nights and even saw an eagle soar above the peak of the house. The incline to the water is steep but if you aren't up to walking you could take the car down the driveway. Definately catch the view at low tide and hide tide because it's a vastly different! The beds were firm and for those of us that like firm mattresses, we were pleased. The soft mattress lovers however were given something small to moan about in this otherwise wonderful house. Before going to the grocery double check the pantry first. For our visit, we had ample laundry supplies, coffee, and spices. Would I do it again? Yes please!"

"My initial and only complaint was not having a mini fridge but then realized with wildlife that it was much smarter to have the cooler - I just thought there was no way a cooler would suffice but it was very efficient, albeit a bit too small. Adding included bags of Ice was a smart touch. For the price of the resort and it being an actual tent, I would've expected a bit more to the property - maybe like wood delivery service - but it was still beautiful and the tents are fantastic with beautiful touches like heated mattresses that we surprisingly needed in August. The wagons provided make things easier so you don't have to hear cars coming and going too but everyone should know that up front that you can't drive your car to the tent at any time so don't bring anything too big that won't fit in a fun little wagon. You guys should invest in a playground too - especially in that play field area!"

"The room was very clean and there was coffee and tea to make. Communication with the host was efficient and easy. Guests have their own little parking area and entrance, as well as a roofed balcony. I strongly recommend going down to the Blue Horizons preserve (about 1 minute drive down the road and 10 minute walk down the path) to watch the sunset. I also stargazed from the balcony one night and it was incredible. Highly recommend and I would love to stay here again!"

"We- primarily myself and my two kids 15 & 3 stayed here while my husband hunted about 45 min from us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the house is stocked with all the essentials, clean and even has puzzles/ toys and movies to enjoy. The host Kathy was just as nice leaving us coffee and the supplies for blueberry pancakes. It is about 15 minutes from bar harbor, and such a cute quiet place. Highly recommend!"

"Location was outside the hubbub of Bar Harbor but close enough for quick trips over if the mood stuck us. The excellent Atlantic Brewery is just down the road paired with good BBQ and lots of outdoor seating. The rental itself would be best for a small family or no more than two couples. It is intimate, cozy and quiet. Well set up for cooking for 2-4. Hosts are friendly. A great rental experience."

"Super cute and very clean cabin with everything you could possibly need. Stayed for two nights with our 6 and 8 year old and it was perfect. The kids loved the “fairy trail” on the property and my husband and i enjoyed sitting on the screened porch in the evening. communication was top notch!"
