Impeccably clean, nicely arranged and decorated, and thoughtfully appointed with every detail. The kitchen in particular simply had everything we needed and could have wanted. Beds we comfortable. Parking was adequate for our four vehicles. Communication with our host was always timely, professional, and helpful. We were delighted by our stay and enthusiastically recommend this to anyone who travels to the Maine coast."

"After going into Bar harbor a couple times, we are soo glad we decided to stay on the “quiet side” of Acadia. We were just 15 minutes from Acadia and pretty marsh was just down the street. It was very quiet and peaceful street. We appreciated the extra towels, newer appliances, cleanliness, patio furniture and the hot tub. We really wanted to go out on the lake but it was a bit chilly when we visited. We would definitely stay again."

"The home is perfectly located so you can enjoy Acadia, Bar Harbor and a variety of unique restaurants. We had a large family group so being able to have everyone enjoy their own bedroom and bathroom was perfect for our weekend stay. One of our family members chose to stay home during the days and enjoyed the mama deer and baby eating in the backyard. Our kids ran in the marathon so the location was perfect for being able to cheer them at several locations along their route. The amenities are plentiful. Lots of soft bath towels, shampoo, conditioner and body soap in every shower. Lots of TP, paper towels and laundry soap. We timed our stay perfectly to view the fall colors. We figured out we didn’t need to drive to view the colors since the entire yard is surrounded by trees that are changing colors. :-)Thank you for a memorable and wonderful stay. We’ll definitely be back!!"

The deck looked like an ideal place to relax in the evening, although the weather prevented us from doing so. Overall an enjoyable experience and a very nice property."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Fern Way. There was plenty of space for 3 couples and the location was excellent to access the main section of the park, Bar Harbor and the Bass Harbor area also. We walked down the road to the kayak area of Longs Pond and it was beautiful. The weather was great for the 3 days we were there in the end of September so we were out and about a lot and didn't get to use the outside spaces at the house much, even though they looked inviting. The screened in porch was very nice, but it was too chilly in the evenings to sit out. Communication was great and the house was spotless. We would definitely choose to stay here again!"
