Check in was easy and I felt I had my privacy. I had plenty of coffee and towels in my room and a clean, comfortable bed. If I was in need of anything, I would text and they responded immediately. I could walk wherever I needed to go.

Surrey Beach House has a lot going for it. The ambience and decor are lovely and you simply cannot beat the fantastic proximity to the beach. However, the overall experience feels heavily driven by profit maximization rather than genuine hospitality: Strict Upcharges: Charging an extra $25 per hour for early check-in or late check-out feels a bit greedy, especially given the already steep room rates. True hospitality would mean letting guests in when the room is clean and ready or granting a free extra hour or two on Sunday if no one is checking in right after. Zero Personal Touch: The entire stay had no human contact at all, making the property feel transactional rather than welcoming to us. Maintenance: We noticed the carpet in our room was visibly stained. It’s a gorgeous spot near the water but management could easily turn this into a truly memorable stay by relaxing the profit orientation and focusing a bit more on a human touch and true hospitality.

it was the perfect last minute trip literally i booked the same day that i arrived and the room room was asthetically pleasing and spotless. the location was perfect and had direct access to surrey ave on the beach the parking was perfect this time of year this is the perfect stop for solo travelers and thats looking for a quick get away !

Amazing stay absolutely loved the room. Definitely worth the price! So comfortable and clean. The patio and balcony were gorgeous stunning view of the beach! Loved the room would definitely stay again!

High quality beds/bedding and furnishings on a quiet, safe street, just a few steps from the ocean—this is the perfect alternative to a busy casino hotel. I’ve stayed here multiple times this season, always a great experience. The views from each room are nothing much to speak of, but the view from the front porch is delightful.

This place was amazing for a couple night stay while my friend was visiting from out of town! So clean and cute. The pickle ball paddles were such a cute touch too. Right on the beach and a block away from adorable restaurants and shops 😊 even though they didn’t have staff on site during our stay, the communication was excellent! I would definitely book again or suggest it to anyone visiting!

Really liked our room. Clean, quiet and it looked like it was newly renovated. Lots of towels, comfortable bed, fridge microwave and safe. Check in is virtual- there is no front desk. We had a very minor issue at check in, and were able to easily reach out to the owner who was there immediately to take care of it. Would definitely stay here again!
