The staff here are excellent, with a real passion for this beautiful, historic hotel. I love it for its vintage vibe. The restaurant, Twenties is very good and the Vue offers delicious drinks and snacks with a great view out over the boardwalk and ocean. Would definitely stay here again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful historic hotel. The amenities were excellent, the property was full of charm and character, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. A special thank you to Fred, who went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. His exceptional service made our visit even more memorable.
My husband and I went for a getaway. We had a wonderful time our room was clean the bed was comfortable and we could see the ocean really good on the top floor. We will be back again really soon.
This was the second time I stayed in this Hotel. Very family friendly. Close to the boardwalk and the shops. I recommend this Hotel and I’ll definitely will be back. My daughter loves it Also.we love the hot tub.
Super friendly staff.
An old classic landmark hotel.
Very reasonably priced during the weekdays.
Convenient to get to the casino in Bally's and Caesars.
A bit of a stale odor in the hallways.
Extremely convenient if you're going to visit the cannabis lounge.
The stay was ok. Not what pictures showed. The staff were friendly. Staff was overwhelmed. Only two elevators worked out of 5. One elevator was really scary.
The room was neat, clean and comfortable. Only complaints: there were coffee pods, etc., but no coffee machine, and the internet would not connect. Other than that, a great value for the money. Much less expensive than Caesars or Ballys next door. Had a show at Caesars and wanted to be nearby.
This is my second time staying at this hotel. It is centrally located and close to the beach; plus, Bally's Casino is right next door, and there are restaurants on-site (including a donut shop). And there is an indoor pool .You should be aware that parking costs $15 per day, and you may have to wait up to 30 minutes for the elevators—especially when there are events taking place. The beds are on the small side, and—most importantly—the rooms do not have microwaves
At first I was a little standoff-ish. It felt out dated. But once we got to our suite I was more impressed. We stayed in the jacuzzi in room suite and it was very pleasant. Of course with a historical feel! Very clean! The roof top bar was very convenient, Cheese steak rolls and passion fruit margaritas, came in the clutch for the late night! Overall we enjoyed our stay and had no complaints.
My husband and I had a nice stay. Right on the water. Beautiful ocean view. Easy access to the boardwalk and beach. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Didn’t like that there wasn’t any available microwave in the room or in a common area….small in convenience. The hotel definitely had an antique feel. But the staff were all very pleasant, helpful and welcoming. The roof top restaurant was a nice touch and Jerry the bartender made awesome drinks. Overall we had a relaxing time and would go back again for a nice quick getaway.
The Claridge was a great place to stay. Clean. Comfortable. Near the board walk. Since it was the off season, we got an ocean view room for a reasonable price.
Unfortunately, their computer system was down. So the key cards could not be made. We had to call the front desk to get someone to let us into our room each time we left. Furthermore, their internet was down as well. This was really annoying as it was down for both days that we stayed.
Also, be warned in advance that parking is taken care of by a company not associated with the hotel. There is no reserved parking for the hotel. You have to pay for it on the side with a vendor not associated with the hotel. There are a limited number of spaces next to the hotel. The general lot is a block away. Since this was the off season, I was able to pay for a close parking space. I wish I had known this in advance.
It was poor experience - from the check in, which took over 1.5 hours, to the elevators (which you’d hope you would get on). Overbooked and crowded. Loud noises in the hallway, rusty vents. Staff was nice but overall experience and logistics of the hotel was quite poor.
I love the front check in staff they was wonderful very helpful and respectful. However I was not satisfied with the two rooms I booked neither one had been cleaned there was only one towel and one wash cloth in the each room the room doors was dirty it had food and trash on it the fridge was dirty I had to go down to the front desk and asked for a vacuum so I could clean my two rooms the lady and the desk informed me they didn’t have one that I could use but house keeping would come and clean them the didn’t come the next day it was the same issue house keeping only came to bring a towel and remove the trash I was very un pleased with this

Liked: Staff & service
Old hotel, long wait time to check in, elevators took a long time to go up/down, room was not that clean, staff was nice, and the breakfast was good in the restaurant..
Check-in for many took over 2 hours. The wait for the elevators took almost just as long with the elevators skipping most floors and stopping entirely. When we arrived to our room, we were met with suspicious hair in the sink, crumbs and trash on the floor, and a strangers clothes in the closet. Our AC was at 75 and despite being put on the highest, coldest setting, never got any cooler in the time of the stay. The issues were told to the front desk staff, but not resolved. The clothes are still in the closet. On the second night, multiple roaches were seen and felt in the room. When told, the staff said they could bring up a spray. The spray bottle never came. In talking to the other guests, many had similar grievances about their rooms, the elevators, and overall experiences in their time here. The hotel was not like this last year. Overall a disappointing stay. The shining point was the Twenties Restaurant.
The Clairidge is not the most modern hotel in AC but it’s ok. I stay for conveniences like the extended pool hours and the adult swim. I love the suites with the whirlpool tubs. I do think they can gradually start making updates to their establishment starting with the tvs lol.

Liked: Cleanliness
The dirty window obstructed the ocean view, but that is my only complaint. Staff was friendly. Room was clean, pool was clean and relaxing. This hotel has it's own security team,so we felt very safe. I would definitely stay again
We love the price at the Claridge. The location is perfect. We had a problem with the first room we were in, no air conditioning. They put us in another room and it was perfect. The Italian bistro on the 6st floor is a great place to eat. And the VUE on the roof is decent.
