"Room: lots of space . Little dusty bed area and pictures but over all clean. Noise: wouldn’t recommend for people who have to leave at 3 am for flights etc . Very noisy doors . Slamming doors outside constantly . Not sound proof at all . Food: our server was excellent . Food was good seafood a bit over cooked but expected in a pub bar . Not much for pan fried haddock with cornmeal. Fish was excellent but picked off cover. Still waiting for my refund on damage deposit. Not sure why it wasn’t just help and not taken right off card . Hopefully will resolve itself . Airport was very close and easily able to get to departures. We would consider staying again perhaps if a room was away from race track and more secluded lol"

"Great location. Walking distance to many restaurants and activities. Hotel could easily be a 5 star hotel with just some basic maintenance and attention. Rooms were surfaced cleaned, but lacking details. Extreme dust buildup around the large tv, mold around corners of tub, shelves peeling from previous water damage. Floor baseboards, were extremely dirty. Carpets need shampooing in hallways. Free parking noted on website does not convey with 3rd party bookings, be aware. Also, parking is across the road and would be quite far for those less able to walk far. Elevators get very busy, making for a longer wait at times. Breakfast was included and consisted of the normal low end buffet items. They were well stocked and servers were all pleasant."

"Overall this was a quite fine stay. It was centrally located to downtown/waterfront attractions and restaurants and featured most of the amenities you would expect for a hotel at this price point. Be aware, the rooms are very loud. You can hear every door slam and every movement/voice out in the hallway. I would also expect a hotel of this price to be a bit more well-appointed (e.g., a hand towel rack in the bathroom, outlets on both night stands, robes. The rooms are also on the smaller side, and the bathroom is a bit tired. Parking is $35 CAD per day. The bar/restaurant is lovely."
