"Great staff!"

"Very friendly check in and reception. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast from great look out point. Set right in the ancient city which is great but made parking a challenge (park in free city lots/street). Breakfast was a slight let down for this price point. Service could be slow, forgetting items. Overall concept rather fussy with lots of served small items rather than choice/buffet. Also it grates to have paid a significant B&B rate only to be charged top up amounts for cooked items like eggs...

"Rooms are very spacious and clean. Beautiful Spa and breakfast was really good. I would 100% recommend staying here."

"Very good position in Valletta center, very professional staff but not sure on Erasmus students manning front desk whilst alone. Unfortunately the main entrance facing an alleyway with restaurants bins."

"Lovely place to stay and got a free room upgrade on arrival! Staff could not be more helpful and it was a very relaxing stay with a great breakfast!"

"I’ve stayed at the hotel now 4 times in the last 12 Months and looking to go back there over Christmas. I stayed in the Club room which gives you access to the club lounge. Really worth the while you doing this as you get all day access to small snacks, drinks, full breakfast and alcohol drinks from 5pm to 9pm. It would be nicer if the bar was open a bit later till at least 10:00pm. Other than that. You can’t go wrong. Brilliant hotel, 10 out of 10"

"The public areas of the hotel were clean and tidy but unfortunately the rooms are tired and in desperate need of refurbishment. The noise from the air conditioning was appalling. A block of rooms on the lower floor were plagued by a droning noise from air conditioning machinery servicing the whole hotel. Even with the air conditioning off in your room the droning was unbearable, preventing sleep at night. I was moved to a different room but only 4 rooms away and whilst it was slightly better...

"Stayed one night and left. Booked a room for a family of 4. Nothing like the pictures. More like a prison cell. Zero natural light apart from front room with balcony. Opened the bathroom window to smell raw sewage, same with middle room. Strip Fluoro lighting in bathroom and no where to even place your wash bag. Also hardly any storage in main bedroom, scratchy bed sheets. We arrived late so stayed one night and the next day we checked out and found another hotel. The Strand will not refund us...

"Room was very clean. Loved the amenities. The only thing that could be improved a bit is the service when calling staff for something"

"Great location beside a lovely beach. Nice facilties and good restaurants on site."

"Pulizia, zona ottima shopping, personale ok, colazione buona."

"We liked the central location but take note that church bells ring 7 days a week!! Our room had no balcony which is okay because our rate was reasonable but the window opened by the kitchen funnel so each morning I woke to the snell of bacon !! Next door property was drilling so the noise each afternoon when we tried to nap before a night out was impossible. Do we have the right to any compensation?"

"Everything was fantastic Except we where facing a white wall just a few feet away The positive is that the room was extremely quiet and we where able to keep the windows open"

"Super nice hotel, delicious breakfast. Walking distance to everything. Would go back surely!"
