"We loved staying at Mihin villa with Mahinda and his family. We were initially booked for 2 nights but extended our stay to 4. Really comfortable room, big bathroom with hot water. "It is poorly managed and run down place. Pro - Beach is 200m away after crossing open train tracks. Cons - Run down old house - next to the train tracks (last train at midnight and the first at 3am) the whole room will vibrate with noise. - consistent power cuts and they dont have back up power source ( temp was around 32c) - There was no AC remote in the room and was made to pay UDS 10 to get the remote or you can burn in the heat. "No POOL! На мой вопрос - а где же бассейн? Был дан идиотский ответ - вон там море, там и купайтесь! Море необорудованное, все очень запущенное, лежаков мало и они обычно поломанные, нормальный есть только один. За кондей требуется доп/оплата 3000 рупий. Холодильника в номере стандарт нет, но хоть разрешили пользоваться холодильником в столовой, но часто его отключали чтобы включить вентилятор. В целом персонал старается помочь, однако руководство недружелюбно. Больше чем на 1 ночь...

"Stayed one night. It was a pleasant stay. We had an overly smelly (too strong of whatever air freshener they use) room so they let us sleep in the room next door. Both rooms had two single beds put together. Slept comfortably. Breakfast was simple but good. The pool is a nice amenity and the private beach is beautiful. Pleasant stay for one night."

"The staff was excellent! All our needs wee met with a smile! Rooms were very clean and spacious. The beach is lovely with comfortable loungers and shade. We had an issue w/ the accountant as he charged us more for our 2nd and 3rd days than we paid online but breakfast was included. The Sri Lankan breakfast is excellent! As was all the Sri Lankan fare we ordered! There is a big party there on Saturday nights so bring earplugs if you don't want to stay up late and party."
