I stayed in a pod dorm and it was fine. Clean and in good condition, although I would have appreciated better security. No in-room lockers, just bags left on the floor wherever. I had a key to the dorm room but with multiple other occupants, it was left open whenever I came back to the room. Shared bathrooms are very small and were wet all the time, but reasonably clean.

Affordable accommodation in expensive Auckland

They have nice chil areas and clean washrooms. Washrooms on the third floor are far better than any other floor. Kitchen is very helpful when you are trying to avoid super expensive dine out in Auckland. Few minutes of walk from Sky Bus stop. Almost 30 mina of walk from Sky City hotel which is a common pickup point for many tours.

I stayed in one of the pod-type dorms. The bed was comfortable and didn't shift around when someone was going up/down the ladder. Each bed had a light, outlets, and a small lockbox (sized for maybe a laptop or tablet).

The deluxe beds were comfortable and you get your own power outlet and light. It wasn’t as clean as I would like; there was garbage and dirt left from the previous person in my sleeping pod. They provide you with bed linens but no towel. The elevator was broken and I had to carry my luggage up many flights of stairs.

It’s a very nice hostel and contains everything a backpacker needs. You have to take care off your food but that shouldn’t be a problem :) The rooms are tidy, the beds are comfortable.

Nice hostel close to Auckland.

This hostel is really close to the city centre and is very affortable. Kitchen is a bit small for the amount of people that can stay in the hostel. Also not that many showers and toilet. All do I never had to wait for one. The rooms are spacious and have a nice view over the city. The pod room were I stayed in was very nice. Own poweroutlet and light. The hostel feld like a family because lots of nice backpackers.

Good hostel a bit outside of the center

Not very central, but nice, clean hostel with big, comfortable kitchen/sitting area. The heating wasn't on so it was very cold in my room. They gave me a second blanket, which helped a bit.
