Check in agent was considerate of our preference for room. Room was clean, and door hinges and latches were quiet. The overuse of “room freshener” in the hallway was cloying and way too strong. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. That strength of “freshener “ is often used to cover up bad smells.

I had a great stay at the Red Roof Hotel in Austin! The service was very good, and the staff were super nice and welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable, which I really appreciated. The only downside was that the floor wasn’t very clean it could’ve used a better mopping. Other than that, everything else was excellent. I’d definitely consider staying here again!
