Unique, Spacious, Victorian-Style Home In Downtown Pflugerville

The original 2 bedroom home had been a part of Pflugerville for over 50 years before being purchased by our family. After our family moved in, in 1992 the Schnell Haus was lovingly custom-renovated from a meager 2 bedroom home to a beautiful, large two-story victorian-style house.

3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms exist in the original part of the house complete with the original wood floors! The other 3 bedrooms and bathroom are part of the sprawling upstairs renovation and boast ample space and beautiful views.

As a kid, the Schnell Haus was the location of choice for our large family gatherings and holidays. With a kitchen designed for multiple chefs and an open floor plan the Schnell Haus is not only a great place to rest but great for having brunches or throwing parties.

The house was bigger than the pictures showed, which was a pleasant surprise. We loved the house and all of its niceties. The neighbors played music a little loud. Other than that it was a wonderful stay.

Family Gathering Place

2 generations of our family stayed here for our annual trip to ACL festival. It was our second year staying at this property and once again had a great stay. Roomy house with well stocked kitchen. Questions to owner got quick responses. I plan on coming back next year.

Awesome family reunion

Our group of 19 family members (from 4 states) had an awesome time in Pflugerville/Austin, in large part because of such a wonderful facility for gathering, meals, and sleeping. The spaciousness of this beautiful home lets people spread out, yet be together. Thank you to the host for providing this lovely home for such an occasion!

Great Large Family House

This was our second year in a row to stay here for our annual family reunion and we had a wonderful time once again. The kids love the games in the garage and the back yard. The adults enjoyed walking the neighborhood and spending time on the porches. Great communication from the host!

Excellent place for a family gathering

My family gathered to celebrate the lives of my parents. This home was spacious and welcoming. The kitchen allowed us to cook together easily. The bedrooms provided privacy and quiet when needed. We spent a lot of time on the front porch. Thank you for a wonderful place to gather and celebrate.

the good, the bad and the ugly.

the space easily accommodated our group of 11. Nice kitchen and appliances. The nonstick skillets were in sad shape. The two large ones were beyond use. Bar around the corner played loud music several nights.

Family Reunion

Very nice place to stay. However, we found a dishwasher full of dirty dishes. We used plastic the whole time and made sure the facility was clean before leaving the property. In addition, we washed the towels.

In Austin for a family wedding. In hindsight, would have stayed closer to the city. Hated the traffic in and around Austin that we had to navigate.

Soccer Trip

This house was amazing. Lots of space for everyone, very clean, and in a really cute area with restaurants and some bars. The only complaint we had was that there was loud music coming from one of these bars, making it difficult to sleep before our tournament... but this isn't anything the property owners can control. Loved it, would book here again!

Schneider House was great!

The house was great! So spacious and comfortable for all of the guests. Everything was beautiful and clean. The only complaint was the loud music coming from somewhere down the street. We needed a good nights rest for Saturday morning long competition day, and the music was loud. It’s not really the owners fault, so I still feel that this house was great! I absolutely loved it!

Ladies on the Loose aka Ladies of the Street Lords

When we arrived the outdoor appearance was beautiful and it continued once we opened the door. The home was clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, floors, etc. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed a nice walk around the neighborhood. The home was well stocked and we truly had a funky good time. The home was spacious so we were able to have sisterly conversations we each other. We will definitely return Hats off to the owners Ladies of the Street Lords

Intense HIGH volume music playing through out most of my stay Fri and Sat night

The house isn't updated and wasn't that clean microwave and garage and bathrooms had mold around the edges....
