"The staff was outstanding. From the moment you pull up till he moment you leave they are there to help and serve. The history of the hotel is highlighted with a free tour that will bring you back to the 1970's. It is in walking distance to historic George town with options for food and nightlife. It is also a short iber ride to all of the historic sights. My average Uber cost was about $12.00. The pool, sauna, and Jacuzzi were clean and very well maintained. I definitely will be staying here again on my next trip to Washington. "

"The Expedia app said to call for shuttle. No one answered the phone both times I called. They wouldn't comp me for my Lyft expense because I booked with Expedia. The Shuttle goes to terminal 1 every hour on the hour. My room had a malfunctioning toilet so I requested to be moved. The second room was good except there was no hair dryer. There was also some suspicious activity outside the hall of the lower level room i was originally assigned. The desk staff were younger and not very polite. The Shuttle driver I met the next morning was very kind! But his drivers seat was broken and he was using a personal pillow just to make it more comfortable. It just seemed like the typical HUGE business with overworked or undercared for employees running things and having the excuse of things being out of their control. Breakfast was awesome! The room was clean! Overall I would stay again but Expedia should be more clear about the shuttle service directions. "

"well first I'm wanna start off by saying that the bed was so comfortable. I definitely expected more from a hotel room that was over $200 a night as the rooms were dated and the business centers computers were from the early 2000s. Can't complain about the location, it's walking distance to the White House. Overall I would definitely stay just because of how comfortable the bed was but $200 a night is insane to me but I guess that's the rate in DC"

"We arrived late Thursday night after a long drive with family and were given a room that smelled strongly of cigarettes and appeared unclean. When we returned to the front desk, the night manager was not around, but his assistant, Diego was rude and unprofessional, showing little concern. The assistant then had us waiting, showing no concern that we had driven for so many hours and were exhausted. Finally, after 20 minutes and seeing multiple other guests being assisted by Diego the front desk assistant, we asked if our room was ready. His response was dismissive, with a remark that he was helping other guests, which felt very unprofessional and unwelcoming. For a 3-night stay, and considering the price that was paid, this was extremely disappointing. Parking was also poorly explained, with unclear directions to the garage and unexpected additional nightly fees. We contacted Expedia, and once they intervened, things began to improve. We were moved to a better room with no odor or carpet, though it could have been cleaned more thoroughly. The next morning, we spoke with the manager, Muhammad, who completely turned the experience around. He was attentive, professional, and made it a priority to resolve our concerns and ensure the rest of our stay was pleasant. Overall, a rough start but a much better finish thanks to Muhammad’s outstanding customer service."

"We felt welcome the moment we walked into the lobby. The staff were professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful—providing maps, directions, and great restaurant recommendations. Our room was clean and felt newly updated. The breakfast was the best we’ve had across all the Hyatt properties we’ve stayed at, and each morning the restaurant staff greeted guests warmly, which made for a wonderful start to the day. Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations. If I had to nitpick one thing, it would be the low water pressure in the shower—but it did not impact our overall experience. We would absolutely return the next time we’re in the area."
