"This old building has been converted to an attractive and comfortable gite, with excellent views from the garden. It's a long way up the hill so quite cool. Hard to find the right building as we did not have adequate directions. The giveaway is the owner's name on the cover for the electricity meter on the wall alongside the road. Cleaning, bedlinen and towels are extra."

"Warm welcome by the owner in a beautiful village in a wonderful landscape. The flat is situated near the center of Vallon-Pont-d'Arc. In the morning you can have your fresh Baguette from different bakerys by foot. Or you'll have lunch or dinner in one of about 20 Restaurants around the corner. You have all opportunities for hiking, biking, boating and a lot of incredible, historic sites as the "Grotte Chauvet 2", Avignon, Pont du Gard.... Merci à Jacky et Jean-Marc pour leur hospitalité!"

"We booked this property prior to Covid in 2019 and we finally managed to arrive in September 2022. We were met by the owner, who speaks no English, but we managed to get by with the tour of the property. The property is in a lovely quiet village and is well laid out, and with everything you would need for your stay. The WiFi strength was excellent. We only used the one double room and that was very comfortable. The property has another double room and a single, so plenty of space. There is one...

"The house is located on top of a hill surrounded by beautiful countryside. The owners who live next door were very kind and helpful. There are only two houses on that hill. They are totally isolated, and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. The house is well equiped with everything you need. We spent a lovely week. Château de la Roche is worth a visit, as well as Lyon easily reachable by train from Tarare a town half an hour away from the gîte. ."

"We had a lovely stay in this cottage on the hill, from which we took walks in the beautiful surroundings. Along the paths we smelled rosemary, lavender and thyme. Wild cherries, prunes and mulberry. Chestnut trees. Plus the dog of the neighbors is a great playmate."

"This air conditioned home had everything we needed for our holiday. Imaculate inside, very modern. The added private, gated secure parking was excellent. The home was less than a one minute walk to the start of the shops, bars, restaurants. Very pretty town. The owners, Jean-marc, Jackie and Alexa were very helpful and on site if we needed anything, but not intrusive. Would recommend the Ardeche region and Vallon Pont D’Arc for a brilliant holiday. "We enjoyed our stay at the lakefront cabin. The house is well equipped with modern amenities. We appreciated the charming decor, dock for swimming and bistro table with incredible Views. We enjoyed walking to the boulangerie for croissants every morning. The traffic noise was off putting but otherwise an excellent place to stay."

"The place is as listed in a good location with parking. I didn't like handing over 500 euros in cash or having to rent sheets for 30 euros. Sheets should come as part of a holiday house. Unusual practice in this day and age. Aside from that, a lovely stay."

"We came from the east cost of America to visit the Rhône valley wine area. The cottage was perfect stay for our trip. The road in and out of town is quite rural and driving should done with caution. "
