"After an intense work week, a friend and I had 4 days in Cape Town before returning to Canada. Rouge on Rose was a perfect place to explore Cape Town and its environs. The hotel is in Bo K-aap which is a really interesting neighbourhood and very central. The vibe was definitely chilled. The rooms are large and comfortable. Lots of little things done well - lots of international plugs, heat/ac pumps. Staff were fantastic - they went out of their way to be helpful and also had lots of great tips....

"Only stayed here for one night but it was lovely.
Upon arrival we were welcomed with a drink and good conversation and then shown to our room. The house is beautiful and the on street parking was safe. We walked down the road for dinner and felt safe during the day doing so.
Would recommend and stay here again.

The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious with a desk and chair, hanging space and I loved the arty decor in the room. It was very quiet. Tea, coffee and jug in the room but also free coffee and fresh muffin each morning for breakfast in lounge area near reception. Free choice of a beer, wine or cider from the bar on arrival was great too. I found the location great with the Hop on hop off sightseeing bus stop in Long...
