First time staying at the St. Lauren. Clean room and centrally located near the market and shops/restaurants. The lounge on the 6th floor had amazing views. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The only dislike was that not all ice machines were working on all floors but definitely not a deal breaker.

Good location, Excellent walking distance from everything, Clean & Service in front desk is active, Random noises coming from electrical Beeping, Repetitive ticking & Extremely loud AC, Very Thin Walls. Barebones hotel, thin walls. Cleaning staff were incredibly loud in the morning, talking down the hall to each other. Sounded like they were in our room and talking normally. Glad we weren't trying to sleep in.

Hotel St. Lauren is a great budget friendly option when staying on Catalina Island. They also allow single night reservations, while many hotels on the island require two night minimum stays. While older and a bit dated, our rooom was very clean and the bed comfortable. They offer complimentary coffee in the morning to guests. Great views of the ocean and Avalon from their 6th floor terrace.

The property was fine. Good place to stay. Not luxurious, but good. The best part of the stay was the staff. Instead of waiting and waiting and waiting in line to check in, a second staff member came quickly to check me in to my room. They were friendly and attentive.

Love the view of the ocean from the terrace . Staff is polite and welcoming. Down fall. Hotel does not accommodate luggage hold after check out, which others hotels do offer, and hold luggage till time for persons to take the ferry back to inland .
