"The house is beautiful and wonderfully appointed - even better than the pictures would have you believe. Location is fantastic - minutes from downtown Aveiro, two big supermarkets and the beaches, but still in a residential neighborhood. Our host Adelaide was so friendly and helpful and made the stay that much better. 10/10 - would definitely recommend."

"The house was great in a lovely location. Views were amazing. Good area for peace and quiet but easy 50 minute drive into Porto. Slightly lacking in glasses and crockery, we had to put the dishwasher on regularly. There was a problem with the pool while we were there, and we were unable to use it, which was a great shame as the weather was so good. But owner has been kind enough to compensate us for this. Would recommend the house."

"This is a very well equipped villa in a lovely location overlooking the lagoon. The village of Torreira a few minutes away is a gem. A pretty little town with old buildings lining the pedestrianised main street at one end and a harbour with brightly painted traditional fishing boats at the other end. The villa has a good heated pool and two comfortable lounges, one of which overlooks the lagoon. The garden is secluded and a nice place to relax. The nearby road is only really noisy on Sundays...

"We loved our time spent at Carmo’s home in Aveiro. She was very thoughtful, and left some local treats and beautiful sunflowers for our enjoyment. Our infant also slept very well in the provided crib, which is quite a feat! The house is just a quick walk to the city center, and we were also able to enjoy Costa Nova and Coimbra while there as well! Carmo was responsive to our questions, and was so gracious and accommodating. Thank you so much for opening up your home to us!"

"We absolutely loved our stay. Eugenia was there to meet us when we arrived and walked us through the property. It was incredibly beautiful, well-done, spacious and accommodating. "Our stay at Casa de Muranzel provided a perfect place for relaxation and exploring the village of Torreira. It was also a great jumping off place for exploring further afield… a short trip to Aveiro and one hour drive to Porto. We all loved coming back to the house for a swim in the pool! Pedro was a warm and welcoming host. We appreciated his information about exploring local sights and restaurants. We would definitely recommend his lovely house to family and friends!"

"Fabulous stay and luxury experience for an affordable cost. Enjoyed dining at the hotel for dinner and breakfast In Luxe surroundings. Breakfast can be on the outdoor terrace overlooking the garden. Hiked to the top and enjoyed the stations of the cross and other chapels that adorned our “way” dating back to the 1600s. Beautiful nature. Tranquility at its finest. Highly recommend. Staff was very nice too. "
