"From the room to the breakfast to the beautiful views to the rooftop swimming pool, the Residence Inn by Marriott is an outstanding place to stay. The staff was friendly, warm and accommodating. Each breakfast was a gastronomic delight with the usual American breakfast food as well as Panamanian delicacies. The hotel is situated next door to the Panama Clinic."

"Main complaint is that the door between the bedroom and living room either wouldn’t close or open. This happened in every suite we’ve had. Suites are large and beautiful. CAUTION: if in an adjoining room,ensure your side is locked. Ours wasn’t, and the other side took our pillows and emptied the mini bar. Breakfast is expansive, but crowded so be prepared."

"The room was well designed and clean. There was a coffee pot for pre morning coffee. The free breakfast buffet was amazing and the restaurant was good. There is NO airport shuttle to or from the hotel. You must pay for this separately. Uber is an excellent option as a taxi can add up depending on traffic and it is a good 15 minute drive into the city to get to the hotel from the airport. Make sure you put the correct address in as there are more than one Ramada in the area. It was worth the drive. We will stay here again. If you don’t speak Spanish then Google Translate works well!"

"This hotel was a nightmare. I arrived at Panama City from Ecuador at 8:30pm, but NO Shuttle was available as they advertised on Expedia, and even worse, there was no one to answer the phone at all. I emailed, texted, and called the hotel right after I received the book confirmation from Expedia and the day BEFORE my arrival because it was my first time to visit Panama. The property NEVER responded, so I had to call Expedia at the airport after my arrival. Long story short, Expedia could NOT reach them, either, and told me to take Taxi to get to the hotel almost midnight. I did not know whether there was anyone to check in at that time, so I had to request to cancel the booking and get refund. I am very disappointed with Expedia's listing recently because I had a few unpleasant experiences with bookings on Expedia. I wish Expedia had a system to validate the listings and knew the properties' advertisement is honest."
