Alejandro was so friendly and very accommodating! The cabin was adorable and had everything you could need. Breakfast was a delicious spread of toast and spreads and cakes. The location is great if you have a car - free parking and a super close drive (<5 min to the town), but also feels quiet and a bit separate from the activity of town, which is great for relaxing. We wish we could have stayed longer, but would definitely stay here again if we make it back to El Calafate.

Our GPS took us right to this very attractive bed and breakfast. The place was built by the family that runs it, it is spotless, beautifully decorated, and the family is extremely friendly and accommodating. Although it seems a little farther than it ultimately is, we walked into Calafate Center Avenue and contemplated many restaurants before choosing one that we want. We enjoyed our wine, so took a cab home which was very affordable.

Posada Los Alamos was a great hotel. It was larger than we realized, but it had a really homey feel and the staff was very attentive. The front desk helped with anything we asked for - from calling us a taxi to calling car rental places to find an available car. The pool and sauna areally wonderful ways to relax, especially if you have just finished a long hike! Breakfast had a nice selection. Plus, the hotel is within walking distance of the bus station and plenty of shops and restaurants.

We stayed here for two nights during our trip to Patagonia. The location is great: it's one block away from the main drag (Avenida Libertador) but was removed enough that it wasn't too busy or loud. Our room was simple but comfortable, two twin beds with a private bathroom. Pretty clean overall and good shower pressure. The real highlight of Schilling is the staff, which are very knowledgeable and friendly (especially Antonella). She helped us to book a bus trip to Perito Moreno with pick up...

Really was a lovely place to stay. It was small and quaint and very convenient to the center of town and all the restaurants. Theres a delicious bakery right across the street. The owner helps with all transportation, tours, and guides. Everyone was so nice.

The hotel was toasty warm. Those 6 inch walls kept the heat in and if one wanted to cool off it was easy to just open the window and have a cool breeze come in.
The breakfast was supposed to open at 6 am which it did but the cook didn't cook the eggs and bacon or anything hot until 6:30 which is inconvenient if a bus is picking you up at 6:30 to go on a trip. Other than that this is a very nice hotel and the staff are great.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at Linda Vista. It is the perfect place to unwind after a busy day yet close enough to restaurants, bars and shops all within walking distance. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with smiles and felt right at home. The daily breakfast is perfect and left us full well into the afternoon. Would love to return to El Calafate and stay here again! :)

We had such a wonderful stay at the apartments - we rented 2 for 3 nights over the christmas period. They were extremely comfortable and had everything we needed to cook even a huge christmas dinner. Very warm, beds were comfortable. And the best thing was how welcoming ernesto and fernando were. So lovely, even when checking in late they were there to show us around and nothing was too much trouble. They even did some washing for us, which was so appreciated, and no charge even. Lovely view...

The staff was outstanding. We were having all sorts of airline trouble because of a strike. They were very helpful.
breakfast and dinner was excellent.
The view was beautiful. With balconies. A little bit of road noise, but not much. Earplugs helped me because Iām a light sleeper. Very few others would have problems..
Itās not like it was a busy road, but when a car went by, you could hear it because the road is right next to the beautiful lake that they are on.
