"Very noisy occupants. My room was directly facing the elevator. At 10 PM, someone was shouting outside in the corridor asking his wife/partner to open the door. The fire alarms were constantly on without any warning or instructions on what to do. Water flow in my fourth floor room was with very low pressure. Very frustrating while using the sink or bathtub. Shower curtain rod was in a bad shape, ready to break anytime. The only good thing about this place is that it's quite inexpensive and close to where I need to go. If you a single, and if you have specific work around NYU or Navy Yard in Brooklyn, this might be a good place to stay for 1 or 2 nights. A lot of restaurants closeby, including on Myrtle Street. I do not recommend this place for families. "

"4.5 stars only because we scheduled a car service to take us to JFK but were told morning of that it wa not confirmed and the company was not answering?? Other than that it was a great hotel stay and close to the subway, stores, and a park. There's a bar and pool table in the lobby area which is nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. "

"Honestly loved staying here. The location is really fun if you like fun night life and central location to all of the best places in Brooklyn to go out (food, clubs, music).. all 4-10 minute walks to places we loved. The room was super cute, cheap, clean, had a smart tv (why would we ever use cable TV’s any more? lol) so it was great to just log into youtube/ netflix and feel at home. Shower was warm and clean, bed was very comfy. Manager Rahul, and other team members were exceptionally kind and helpful during our stay. I work remotely and needed a place to go during the day.. The lounge / bar area was perfect, and even a back patio to step out and have a smoke if you need. Anyways, i rarely write these but yea.. well worth the money if you are a creature of the night but also require all the coziness needed and a good place to sleep and rest up. Cheers Hotel 1080"
