"A very typical French gite, quirky and full of character. It was very clean in the house and the pool was well maintained for us too. Maryse who looked after us was wonderful and looked after us very well. The beds were comfortable (we opted to bring our own bedding and towels) and there was plenty of space. It is someone’s home and this is clear as there is lots of stuff around but this wasn’t an issue for us. For an affordable stay in very beautiful surroundings we would definitely recommend this property. We travelled with our 4 children (16. 16, 8 and 5). The train from the local town was a bonus and we used it to visit Carcassonne which was a brilliant day out. More than anything we enjoyed relaxing by the very private and quiet pool in the lovely sunshine."
