"We recently stayed at Estrellas de Gredos and were really disappointed. The place has stunning mountain views and a traditional curved ceiling, but a lot of things went wrong. The biggest issue was a broken sliding door that wouldn’t lock. When we told the staff, they showed up unannounced at 22:00 and just said it was safe to leave it unlocked, which didn't sit right with us. The inside felt cheap too. "This home is on a dirt road in Cuidad Ducal, a community of gates homes near the town of Las Navas del Marques. We used this as a base to drive to Avila, Segovia and Toledo for day trips. The home was clean and comfortable. We were able to relax in front of a fire in the evening. The setting was peaceful and quiet. Esteban was friendly and informative and was able to address our needs quickly. Highly recommended."
