"Our stay at the Hotel Meridians was wonderful (4 nights). I would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Malcesine. It is a very short walk to the historic district and castle. It is a very safe neighborhood. I would have no problem letting my teenagers walk to the town center alone. The hotel itself is lovely. The decorations are contemporary and tasteful. They have both outdoor and indoor dining. The breakfast buffet is spectacular in both taste and presentation with a large variety of foods to fit any appetite. The views from the dining area overlooking Lake Garda are impressive. The staff was very friendly and helpful particularly Francesco who checked us in and helped us with travel advice. The room and bedroom were clean and comfortable. There were no issue with language even though we do not speak Italian. We most definitely return!"

"Wonderful hotel for an early-April break in Malcesine. Stunning location with views across the dramatic landscape of the lake. Nice choice of wine and cocktails - and the food was excellent. Good choice of breakfast items (Continental), snacks for lunch, then a fixed-price set menu for dinner. We ate at the hotel one night only - it is quite expensive, but was of a high standard. We elected to eat in town the other nights (10-15 mins walk). We weren't able to use either the pool or spa facilities based on the weather."

"The junior suite has an amazing lake view, comfortable bed (best of the 4 hotels we stayed at in Italy), large spa tub, and is very spacious. The property is beautiful and well maintained and truly takes you out of the city. There’s an awesome terrace on the roof with a comfortable hot tub. The breakfast buffet is also very expansive and there were some great dinner options too. The restaurant also overlooks the lake. My only recommendation for those considering to stay here are ensuring you have reliable transportation (e.g, renting a car). With the hotel’s somewhat remote location, it would not be reasonable to walk there from the nearest bus stop with luggage and there is not an abundance of taxis. The taxis available cost 20 euros each way. We walked from the hotel to the town two days and found the downhill hikes a bit challenging (40 minutes) due to how steep the hills are. "

"So pleased we booked this hotel. You don’t have to be a tennis player to enjoy it! Hotel Club Olivi is set just outside of Malcesine so is not so frantically busy as the other central hotels and has gardens to walk around and enjoy. Having seen a lot of the other towns around Malcesine on the north east of the lake this town was the nicest with narrow cobbled streets, lots of interesting shops, a small port and plenty of restaurants . The castle is an added bonus and the scenery quite spectacular. A lot of the other hotels in other towns along this area of the lake are set right on the main road that runs alongside the lake so if you want to sunbath or swim you have to do it alongside a busy road. The area where the hotel is the main road is higher than the lakeside promenade (which runs along most of the lake on this side suitable for walking and cycling.) As the promenade is below the road at this point it’s more private and quiet with two wonderful restaurants overlooking the lake edge minutes from the hotel. To walk into Malcesine from the hotel will take you 30 minutes along this promenade but the views are so beautiful it’s a pleasure to walk. Alternatively you can do it safely and a lot quicker on the bikes available to hire from the hotel at just 7 Euro a day. The hotel is family run and everyone was exceptionally lovely and helpful. Breakfast was great with a great choice. We absolutely loved it and will definitely return. "

"Excellent place to stay! Lots of activities to do with beautiful views. The customer service was fantastic and very accommodating. The shuttle service down into the village centre was excellent to have as well. Highly recommend staying here!"
