"Our night at the Chateau had to be the single most memorable night of our trip. I loved it; my other half was a bit freaked by it all. The property is a long way from anywhere down a stone road. The wildlife is incredible (I’ve never heard an all-night frog chorus before and the deer roam freely through the meadows). The bed was really comfortable with lovely bed linen, but lots of the surfaces in the bedroom were very dusty, and although I brought it to the attention of housekeeping it wasn’t really resolved."
